SEACLIFF MANOR RETIREMENT RESIDENCE STILL ACCEPTING NEW RESIDENTS

-

Seacliff Manor, Leamington’s Newest Retirement Residence, is currently accepting new residents. The Manor, who just celebrated its 3rd year since opening on September 1, 2017, has new protocols in place in a response to the provincial-wide COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. They are still able to accept new residents to move-in, as long as they pass a COVID-19 test. “Unfortunately, in-person tours are temporarily suspended,” says Rob Piroli, owner of

Seacliff Manor. “However, we can do everything virtually now!” he says, referring to the ability of staff to give tours via Zoom or Facetime.

It’s been challenging for everyone navigating the pandemic over the last year, however the staff and residents at Seacliff Manor have handled it in stride. “Everyone’s doing their best, making sacrifices, and staying positive,” says Kari Sleiman, General Manager. Kari was among the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Windsor-essex on December 22, 2020. She was honored to be part of history and wanted to set an example for fellow staff, and residents – to demonstrate that their safety is her first priority.

The Manor has made a name for itself in the community for offering the best cuisine, an active and engaging activities calendar, and for its friendly and caring staff. All meals are included in your stay at Seacliff Manor, and all meals are cooked fresh and served à la carte. The activities calendar is different each month, and reflects the resident’s interests, hobbies, and requests. In lockdown, regular programming is temporarily suspended, but staff have come up with unique and interesting ways to keep residents active and engaged.
