ZOOMER Magazine

From the Editor Suzanne Boyd

-

GIVEN OUR publishing frequency of nine issues a year, this is Zoomer’s first issue of 2018, so Happy New Year. This also happens to be our 10th anniversary year, so thank you to all who have supported us on this journey. Milestones are a great opportunity to take stock and re-orient, and so we have. While the magazine will continue to be the engine that powers the message of positive and unapologetic aging that we have faithfully shared with you over the past decade, we have revamped our approach to our website everythingzoomer.com. The site has served as a comprehensive catch-all for not just the magazine’s encore editorial but informative and relevant original online content on our pillars of Health, Money and Travel – and on everything else from delicious recipes to breaking news in politics, stars and royals. Especially with a royal wedding in the offing – congrats, Meghan and Harry – it’s certainly no time to discontinue any of the above but we have also newly imbued the website with the magazine’s sense of mission and clarity of purpose. Showcased in a simplified and elegant new look designed to elevate your experience, log on for special new content buckets that speak to the heart and soul of our mandate, which is, in a nutshell, really about living The Inspired Life. At this age and stage how do you re- capture your 10-year-old self’s sense of wonder, excitement and discovery? In a word, it’s inspiration – to face another day, to make that change, to insist on hope and happiness if and when things take a turn. Inspiration can come from a variety of sources, including experiences and community. To that end, I invite you to join Zooming, our newly minted Travel Club. Read all about it in our spiffy little digest included with this issue. Then find it on the new – and, dare I say, improved – everythingzoomer.com and let the world be your oyster,, as it should bebe.
