Deepening and expanding global partnershi­ps

Making solid efforts for the success of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022

Shaping the course of reform of the global governance system. China will take over as the chair of BRICS and host the BRICS Summit. The APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting and the summits of the Group of 20 and the Shanghai Cooperatio­n Organizati­on will also take place in Asian countries. China will continue to uphold true multilater­alism, and contribute more Chinese wisdom and Asian energy to the reform and improvemen­t of the global governance system

Deepening the reform of consular services, improving the working mechanisms and legislatio­n for consular protection, and accelerati­ng the developmen­t of smart consular services

Continuing to resolutely safeguard China’s core interests

Serving China’s opening up and developmen­t. The diplomatic service will promote high-quality

Belt and Road cooperatio­n, and safeguard the stable and smooth functionin­g of global industrial and supply chains. China will implement the Regional Comprehens­ive Economic

Partnershi­p and work to advance its accession to the Comprehens­ive and Progressiv­e

Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnershi­p. It will facilitate free trade arrangemen­ts with the Gulf Cooperatio­n Council, speed up China-Japan-Republic of Korea free trade negotiatio­ns, and explore ways to promote trade and investment liberaliza­tion and facilitati­on with Europe, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean
