Current Situation，Hot Spots and Future Trends of Logistics Research： Bibliometrics and Theoretical Review

Abstract：Under the background that China is transforming from world big country to strong country，the development of China’s modern logistic industry is facing the critical change. Forecasting the development trend of logistic industry and providing the scientific and rapid development of logistic industry with theoretical guidance is the urgent task of logistics related research. Based on bibliometric methods and the logistics papers from 2012 to 2016 indexed by SCI and SSCI，the author analyzes the total amount and growth of the world's logistics research from the perspective of national distribution，and conducts static and dynamic comparative analysis of the directions of domestic and international logistics research，in order to grasp the current status and frontier of logistics research more comprehensively and forecast the development trends of China's logistics research. The results show that logistics research is becoming more and more important worldwide. The total amount of logistics research in China has ranked second in the world，but the gap is still large compared with the United States. The hot spots of logistics research lie on green logistics，transportation，emergency logistics，logistics scheduling both in China and worldwide. Livelihood logistics will become a new hot direction of China's logistics research.
