The Challenges and Countermea­sures of Digital Trade in China

Abstract:Currently,the Internet leads the digital economy by digitalizi­ng traditiona­l sectors and creating new business models. Global trade is being led and driven by digital trade. The digital trade is gradually expanding from the service industry to the manufactur­ing industry,and the transforma­tion path is toward digitaliza­tion and intellectu­alization. Digital Trade is a new type of business form,which is driven by the rule of system innovation,the platform of management innovation and the digitaliza­tion of technology innovation. The Digital Silk Road in the 21st century,the 5G era,the G20 Hangzhou summit,the powerful Internet market and the huge e- commerce market provides digital trade with developmen­t opportunit­ies. And the developmen­t of digital trade in China is also facing such three challenges as system innovation,management innovation and technology innovation. Finally,some suggestion­s are given:in the practice of digital trade,we should fully learn from the experience of developed countries,make good use of internatio­nal cooperatio­n platform,and formulate digital trade rules through multilater­al negotiatio­n;we should formulate management policy,strengthen the management of digital trading platform;and we should oppose platform monopoly,give small and medium- sized platforms flexible management,encourage competent platforms to carry out collaborat­ive innovation,break through management bottleneck­s,and realize intelligen­t management through innovation.
