Mugger caught in barefoot chase

A mugging victim in Changzhou had her stolen gold necklace recovered after a passer-by chased down the mugger barefoot. Jiang Lin was out walking in his slippers on Sunday when he heard a woman’s cries for help. He immediately took off his footwear and gave chase to the mugger for more than one kilometer. The suspect was then detained by police.
