Guangzhou to organize snooker championship

The New Evergrande China Championship for snooker will be held at the Guangzhou Gymnasium Hall No 2 from Nov 1 to 5. It will have a top prize of £200,000 ($244,900). This year, the event will be a 16-man non-ranking invitation event, with the top 10 in the world, along with four players from a separate one-year ranking list. The field will also comprise two players nominated by the China Billiards and Snooker Association. The total prize money will be £650,000.
