Lit­ter­bug lost phone, funds

A woman in Peng­shui county who ac­ci­den­tally threw her mo­bile phone out of the win­dow of a mov­ing car had to seek po­lice help af­ter 10,000 yuan ($1,450) went miss­ing from her bank ac­count. Cen Qiong was driv­ing when she dropped her phone while at­tempt­ing to throw some lit­ter on the road. Fol­low­ing a po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tion, it was dis­cov­ered that Cen’s phone had been picked up by a san­i­ta­tion worker who gave it to his son. The son then trans­ferred the money from Cen’s bank ac­count to her Ali­pay ac­count. The money was still there when Cen’s phone was re­turned.
