Society: Zhejiang workers take 1 year to make carved bed frame

Eight workers in Wen zhou, Zhejiang province, have spent one year and more than 1 million yuan ($145,000) to make a hand-carved wooden bed frame. They carved more than 130 Chinese classical figures onto the frame, made with wood from China-fir, a tree in the cypress family. The frame is 3.8 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 2.55 meters high.
