German troupe to stage Shakespeare’s

German theater group Schaubuhne Berlin is bringing William Shakespeare’s to Hong Kong this weekend. The production depicts King Richard III of England — the most charming villain in Shakespeare’s plays — in a new European theatrical style. The play is directed by Thomas Ostermeier and translated by Marius von Mayenburg. The show will be staged on Thursday and Friday at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
