Singapore’s deputy PM to attend key meetings

The 13th meeting of the China-Singapore Joint Council for Bilateral Cooperation; the 18th meeting of the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Joint Steering Council; the ninth meeting of the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City Joint Steering Council; and the first meeting of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity Joint Steering Council will be held in Beijing on Monday, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang. At the invitation of Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli, Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean will be in China from Sunday to Wednesday to co-chair the meetings. The fair will present the latest machines and technical solutions. There will be about 110 exhibitors from China. Around 143,000 trade visitors from more than 110 countries attended the previous session in Hanover in 2013.
