Police solve 430 fake ID cases

After a three-year campaign, the police have reported solving 430 cases involving counterfeiting, purchasing and selling fake IDs or

(household registration) documents. A total of 702 people and 249 police officers were punished for their involvement, according to a statement released after a national public security meeting on management on Thursday. Of the officers, 70 were removed from their posts and 69 were held criminally liable.
