4,000 to at­tend Baidu’s first AI de­vel­op­ers con­fer­ence

Search en­gine Baidu will hold its first ar­ti­fi­cial in­tel­li­gence de­vel­op­ers con­fer­ence — Baidu Cre­ate 2017 — at the China Na­tional Con­ven­tion Cen­ter in Bei­jing on Wed­nes­day. More than 4,000 del­e­gates will at­tend the meet­ing, dur­ing which the com­pany is ex­pected to un­veil its open-source plat­form Project Apollo. Baidu hopes the plat­form will help ac­cel­er­ate the development and pop­u­lar­iza­tion of AI applications.
