Governor general’s visit to boost Sino-Canadian ties
David Johnston, the governor general of Canada, will pay an official visit to China from Monday to Friday. He will visit Beijing, Chongqing and Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province. Johnston said in a statement that the trip “will allow Canada to develop new partnerships and reinforce our existing ties in the areas of education and research collaboration, innovation, agri-food and tourism”. He first visited China in 2013.
