Hoh Xil named World Heritage site
Hoh Xil was put on the prestigious World Heritage List as a natural site at the 41st session of the World Heritage Committee in Krakow, Poland, on Friday. So far, China has 51 sites on the list. Hoh Xil, an isolated region in the northwestern part of the QinghaiTibet Plateau, covers an area of 3.7 million hectares, making it the largest among the 51 sites.
