The China International Robot Show, a major exhibition of robotics, was held in Shanghai last week. The expo attracted hundreds of enterprises from 13 countries. China remained the largest market for industrial robots last year, with sales rising by 27 percent year-on-year to nearly 89,000 units, according to a report released by the China Robot Industry Alliance. The country is spreading the use of robotics in sectors including car manufacturing, aviation and home appliances.
