Central bank to release data on Q2 credit growth

-

On Wednesday, the People’s Bank of China will release data on credit growth in the second quarter. In the first quarter, the country’s banks extended 4.22 trillion yuan ($620 billion) in new yuan loans, down from 4.61 trillion yuan in the same period last year. A slowdown in credit expansion means the economy is growing at a slower pace.
