Sheme shoes embroider a past

The Chinese luxury footwear brand Sheme recently worked with designer Laurence Xu for his haute couture show in Paris. The collection is inspired by the works of painters Li Keran and Zhang Daqian and highlights Chinese ethnic embroidery. Sheme’s shoes are also influenced by the scenery and culture of places along the ancient Silk Road.
