International field for desert event

The Wuhai Lake PBP international desert race will pedal off on Aug 26 at the People’s Square in Haibowan district of Wuhai city, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Organized by the Wuhai Municipal People’s Government and Wuhai Municipal Tourism and Sports Bureau, the event will feature about 800 riders in 100- and 200km challenge races and a 30km fun ride circling Wuhai Lake and passing through Ulan Buh desert.

So far, a dozen riders from Britain, France, Germany and Sweden have registered to take part in the grueling race.
