Air Force flies in to aid teachers

-

One hundred teachers from poor regions of China attended a free training program in late July held by Chinese Air Force and China Children and Teenagers’ Fund. They took classes about teaching design, evaluation and positive psychology in seven days. Those teachers came from 13 ethnic groups in 13 provinces. Since 2012, the program has helped 466 teachers. Zhu Xisheng, secretary-general of the fund, said the event aimed to help alleviate poverty by giving equal education to kids in poor areas.

Best wishes were written in notebooks at a China Heli Mart promotional event in Guizhou. Last month, the chain store group donated books and stationery worth up to 100,000 yuan ($14,900) to schools for disabled children in Xiuwen county of Guiyang in Guizhou province.
