Left-behind wallet connects man to raids

A man in Zhenjiang has been detained on suspicion of theft after his wallet, containing his ID card, a bank card and a rental contract, was found at the scene of the crime. The man, surnamed Chen, admitted to stealing copper piping worth more than 100,000 yuan ($15,000) from a store that sells air conditioni­ng supplies. Police said they have linked Chen to over 20 burglaries at the same store since May.
