Tian suc­ceeds Wang as Party chief at CCB

Tian Guoli, 57, was ap­pointed Party chief at China Con­struc­tion Bank in late July af­ter for­mer chief Wang Hongzhang re­tired. Tian joined CCB in 1983 af­ter grad­u­a­tion and be­came as­sis­tant pres­i­dent in 1997. He left the com­pany in 1999 and be­gan his own busi­ness. Later, he joined China Cinda As­set Man­age­ment Co Ltd as vi­cepres­i­dent in charge of trustee­ship and re­struc­tur­ing of large fi­nan­cial in­sti­tu­tions. He was then named gen­eral man­ager of CITIC Group in 2010 and chair­man of Bank of China in 2015.

Fan rises to CEO of Alibaba Pic­tures

Fan Luyuan, part­ner of Alibaba Group, China’s on­line shop­ping gi­ant, was named CEO of the com­pany’s cul­ture and en­ter­tain­ment branch, Alibaba Pic­tures. Yu Yongfu, chair­man of the en­ter­prises, said the com­pany would fo­cus on the pub­lic­ity, re­lease and copy­right au­tho­riza­tion of films based on its strength in big data, in­stead of shoot­ing movies on its own. Fan joined Ali­pay, the mo­bile pay­ment tool of the com­pany, in 2007 and took the post of vice-pres­i­dent later. He will also lead the on­line tick­et­ing plat­form and e-sports busi­ness of Alibaba Pic­tures.

Nuomi.com el­e­vates Fu Haibo to GM

Fu Haibo, deputy gen­eral­man­ager of on­line group-buy­ing com­pany Nuomi.com, a sub­sidiary of China’s in­ter­net gi­ant Baidu Inc, was pro­moted to gen­eral man­ager in late July. Fu joined Baidu in 2011 as head of op­er­a­tions man­age­ment, plan­ning and di­rect
