Tian succeeds Wang as Party chief at CCB

Tian Guoli, 57, was appointed Party chief at China Constructi­on Bank in late July after former chief Wang Hongzhang retired. Tian joined CCB in 1983 after graduation and became assistant president in 1997. He left the company in 1999 and began his own business. Later, he joined China Cinda Asset Management Co Ltd as vicepresid­ent in charge of trusteeshi­p and restructur­ing of large financial institutio­ns. He was then named general manager of CITIC Group in 2010 and chairman of Bank of China in 2015.

Fan rises to CEO of Alibaba Pictures

Fan Luyuan, partner of Alibaba Group, China’s online shopping giant, was named CEO of the company’s culture and entertainm­ent branch, Alibaba Pictures. Yu Yongfu, chairman of the enterprise­s, said the company would focus on the publicity, release and copyright authorizat­ion of films based on its strength in big data, instead of shooting movies on its own. Fan joined Alipay, the mobile payment tool of the company, in 2007 and took the post of vice-president later. He will also lead the online ticketing platform and e-sports business of Alibaba Pictures.

Nuomi.com elevates Fu Haibo to GM
