Q: Why did you decide to partner with the NBA?

A: The NBA is the most important basketball league in the world, and, for Chinese fans, is the pinnacle of the sport, providing topclass action. In China, the NBA has billions of young fans. Every year, NBA stars come here to promote the sport and every game attracts millions of viewers.

The NBA is one of the most popular sports leagues in China,gaining more and more fans each year. In order to reach our consumers and correctly understand their needs, we want to enhance our brand’s connection­s with sports. Clear has been increasing its investment in sports marketing. We started our partnershi­p with the NBA in April 2014. Through the broadcast of Winning Moment, Clear will bring excellent game highlights to fans.

Q: How does this partnershi­p contribute to your business in China?

A: For both Clear and the NBA, this is a win-win partnershi­p. We connected Clear’s championsh­ip spirit to the NBA’s unrivalled intellectu­al property, increasing brand exposure to our male consumers. We aim to increase the popularity of our brand and to enhance the connection between it and sports.

In the future, we will increase our content cooperatio­n. We will work together to dig it deeper into the details of our partnershi­p. I hope the deal will help increase our share in the market. In the meantime, we will bring more NBA-related activities and parties to our fans.
