Tesla to build huge charging station

Electric car maker Tesla will build Europe’s largest charging station in Norway this year, public broadcaste­r NRK reported. The station, with 42 specially designed charging points, will be situated in Rygge, around 65 km south of Oslo. Owners of other electric car types will be able to use other three charging points close to the Tesla station, NRK reported. “We invest a lot in building the charging network, so that it is easy to go for a long trip with our cars. We are looking forward to opening this station in Rygge,” said Even Sandvold Roland, communicat­ions manager of Tesla Norway. In Norway, the company currently has its largest fastchargi­ng station with 20 stalls at Nebbenes. an agreement with the Saudi government for an investment of approximat­ely $1 billion in space travel company Virgin Galactic and a number of related businesses. “I’m pleased to announce the intention of the Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pending approval by the US government, to invest approximat­ely $1 billion into our US based space companies, Virgin Galactic, The Spaceship Company and Virgin Orbit,” said British entreprene­ur Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group. The non-binding Memorandum of Understand­ing between the Virgin Group and the PIF covers a partnershi­p whereby the investment will take a “significan­t stake” in Virgin Galactic, Virgin Orbit and The Spaceship Co.
