International brand refresh aims to excite customers

- By CHINA DAILY

Pan Pacific Hotels Group announced a refresh of its global brand at the Pan Pacific Beijing on Thursday, as the group outlined plans to establish itself as the preferred hotel chain in the region for the next decade and beyond.

The hotel company said it hopes to achieve the goal through renewed brand identities, bold marketing initiatives and a philosophy of sincerity and service excellence.

As part of the brand refresh, PPHG conducted in-depth surveys with guests, frequent travelers and partners, with the results revealing that trust was the differentiating factor for the group, both for its Pan Pacific and Parkroyal brands.

“The hospitality industry has evolved through the years, with new customer segments, customer expectations and lifestyle habits,” said Cinn Tan, chief sales and marketing officer of Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

PPHG’s signature brand, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, boasts 24 hotels, resorts and serviced suites across Asia, Oceania and North America. The brand was given top marks in the survey for providing a sense of confidence to travelers.

Pan Pacific provides a safe harbor in an ever-changing world — a place where every touchpoint focuses on easing the stresses of life and bringing a sense of calm to the traveler, from infinity swimming pools and outdoor relaxation areas to Pacific Club lounges, which are welcoming around the clock.

Parkroyal, the group’s deluxe brand, supports and celebrates the individuality of its guests. The brand’s passion for creating real connections and joyous moments can be felt across all 15 properties spanning Asia and Australia, where sincerity and the best in service brings out the best in all.

As forerunners in strategic collaboration, Pan Pacific and Parkroyal are founding members of the Global Hotel Alliance, the world’s largest alliance of more than 550 upscale and luxury hotel brands with over 110,000 rooms in 76 different countries.

Outside Singapore, China is the company’s largest operating region. Pan Pacific currently has six hotels in China with locations in Beijing, Xiamen, Suzhou, Tianjin and Ningbo.
