20 sentenced for making drugs

A court in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has sentenced 20 people for illegally making drugs. The 20 suspects were given sentences ranging from three to 15 years in jail by the people’s court of Fengshan county. The drug gang was found to be secretly manufacturing drugs at a chicken farm and wood factory in Fengshan. Investigations found that they had been purchasing ingredients from neighboring Guangdong province and hiring local unemployed people to manufacture the drugs. The gang was broken up on May 25, with more than 100 metric tons of drugmaking materials seized at the scene.
