Homeless man freed from bin
Firefighters, using shovels and pliers, freed a homeless man trapped in a clothing donation bin on a street in Nanyang on June 25. Video footage from the fire department shows two feet sticking out of the bin as firefighters figure out the best way to extract the man. Inside the bin, the unnamed man was apparently forced to hold himself up with his arms, maintaining that uncomfortable position for more than an hour while the rescuers formulated a plan. The firefighters eventually managed to open the lock on the bin’s door, allowing the man to slide the rest of his body down and escape.
