Sports business forum

The United Kingdom’s pavilion will hold a talk on the sports industry, covering issues such as strategic partnershi­ps to increase global fan bases and build brand images. A ministry-level memorandum of understand­ing will be signed at the forum, and soccer’s English Premier League is expected to launch a new app. Speakers from the Premier League, SuperSport­s, Fosun and the Shanghai Sports Bureau will attend.

Digital supply chain forum

Jointly hosted by Deloitte China and Xinhua News Agency’s China Economic Informatio­n Service, the forum is expected to attract more than 100 guests, including politician­s, scholars, company executives, logistics experts and financial profession­als, to discuss trends in the global digital supply chain as well as potential opportunit­ies and challenges brought by smart logistics.

Speech on retail’s future

The speech, presented by Deloitte China, will look at the revolution­ary progress in new retail and where the industry could be heading. The talk will also discuss how to complete precise consumer demographi­cs and provide customized services and products.

CJ Corp, the South Korean conglomera­te that manufactur­es sugar, among other things, will hold tasting events at its booth throughout the day.

Jewelry workshop

11 am-noon, 6.1B5-02 X-Jewelry will offer visitors the chance to make their own customized jewelry using a mobile app.
