June 8,2013, Chongqing:

Hu Chunjian hit a bus driver on the head and tugged his right hand after the driver told him to board quickly. The driver then lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a bus stop, injuring two pedestrians. Hu was later sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Nov 5, 2014, Songyuan, Jilin province:

Bai Jingxia missed her stop and attacked a bus driver, who refused to pull over. She also pushed him, resulting in the bus smashing into a fence in the middle of a bridge. Bai was given a three-year suspended prison sentence.

Dec 25,2014, Guangzhou, Guangdong province:

Pan Nianqiang, a passenger, hallucinated after taking drugs. He threatened a driver with a chopper, and the bus swerved into a crowd of people. No one was injured. Pan was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

May 15,2015, Tiajin

A passenger, surnamed Yang, grabbed the steering wheel of a bus and then sat on it after missing his stop. The bus came to a sudden halt and two passengers were injured. Yang was given a three-year suspended prison sentence.

July 22, 2015 Luzhou Sichuan province:

Xiong Xiaozhong became angry when he was asked to pay his fare. He threatened the bus driver with scissors and sat on him before the vehicle crashed into a tree. Xiong was imprisoned for three and a half years.

June 10, 2016 harbin, Heilongjiang province:

Dong Guotao asked a driver to open the doors while the bus was moving, because he wanted to spit. After being refused, he pushed the driver and forced him to stop the vehicle. Dong was sentenced to three years in prison.

June 13, 2017,Shanghai :

A drunken passenger, surnamed Feng, was not satisfied with the slow speed of the bus and seized the driver by the throat. The bus crashed into a car. Feng was sentenced to one year in prison.

Feb 18,2018 Benxi, Liaoning province:

A passenger, surnamed Zhu, grabbed the ignition key because his father, who was also on the bus, wanted to get off to go to the toilet. The driver refused to pull over and the bus crashed into a tree. Zhu was sentenced to one and a half years in prison.
