Policy draft receives public comments
A judicial policy draft from the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate is open to public opinions and comments until Aug 2. The policy provides guidance on how to deal with criminal cases involving intellectual property. According to the draft, criminals will face heavier punishment if they are counterfeiters by profession; make, trade in or use copycat trademarks of rescue supplies amid a severe disaster or a public health incident; or infringe on a trade secret for an overseas organization or individual.
