The amendment to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnershi­p Agreement on Trade in Services takes effect. It lowers the market access thresholds for Hong Kong enterprise­s and profession­alservices sectors to tap into the mainland market.

The Guangdong provincial government issues a raft of trial measures on the open recruitmen­t of Hong Kong and Macao residents by public institutio­ns in the mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area. Eligible Hong Kong and Macao residents may apply for over 10,000 posts in the province.

Hong Kong and Macao residents can apply for renewal and reissuance of Home Return Permits while they are on the mainland, if their permits are expired, lost or damaged.
