President Xi Jinping will attend a series of meetings prior to, during and after the G20 summit.

President’s G20 schedule PRIOR TO THE SUMMIT

Xi will deliver a keynote address at the opening ceremony of the B20 business forum on Sept 3. Leaders of some G20 members, guest countries and international organizations will attend the forum.

DURING THE SUMMIT

Xi will preside over and chair more than 10 events, including the welcoming and opening ceremonies, five key section meetings and the closing ceremony. The summit will bring together leaders from the G20, as well as guest countries and international organizations. The president will also hold bilateral talks with leaders of various countries. Xi will attend and address an informal meeting with other leaders of the BRICS countries.

AFTER THE SUMMIT

Xi will meet reporters and highlight the achievements made.

Who will attend?

Leaders from around the world will meet in Hangzhou for the 11th G20 Summit, which will havemore developing countries in attendance than any previous meeting.
