Con­sump­tion trends in China are con­stantly chang­ing, es­pe­cially with young Chi­nese con­sumers be­com­ing a new­driv­ing force in con­sump­tion. The chal­lenge for us, as for any com­pany in the FMCG in­dus­try, is to re­main rel­e­vant in meet­ing con­sumers’ evolv­ing needs and pref­er­ences.

How­ever, we re­main highly op­ti­mistic in our China busi­ness. There are huge op­por­tu­ni­ties forMars, as the cat­e­gories we are in, such as con­fec­tionery, choco­late and pet care, all have great growth po­ten­tial wait­ing to be tapped.
