Airport bombing suspect arrested

A suspect in the Shanghai airport explosion on June 12 has been formally arrested, officials CANADAsaid onMonday. Zhou Xingbai, 29, allegedly threwa homemade explosive device in a beer bottle at a check-in counter at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, injuring three passengers. Zhou cut his own throat at the scene with a knife, but was taken to a hospital for medical treatment. Zhou migrated from Tongren, Guizhou province, for work in 2006 after finishing middle school.
