Spanish industrial output nosedives

Spain’s industrial production fell by 5.2 percent in July, compared with the same month in 2015, official figures showed. Production of consumer goods fell by 6 percent in July year-on-year, with production of durable consumer goods falling by 7.9 percent and production of nondurable consumer goods falling by 5.8 percent, according to the Index of Industrial Production published by Spain’s Statistical Office.
