Projects chosen for sustainability awards

A total of 79 projects have been selected out of more than 360 entries from all over China for the 2016 AkzoNobel China Student Sustainability Award. The special award, which is sponsored by AkzoNobel Powder Coatings, has also reached the final stage of selection, the company said on Tuesday. The China Student Sustainability Award, under the guidance of the School Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China, is the first award in China to recognize university student groups’ contributions to communities. Since its launch in 2011, it has received more than 1,400 entries from more than 1,000 student groups at as many as 220 universities in 88 cities, involving more than 15 million people across the country.
