Shop cashier accused of theft

A cashier and her younger brother have been detained by police after allegedly stealing from the supermarket where she worked. According to police, the woman, surnamed Sun, allowed her brother to leave the supermarket with goods that he did not pay for between early August and Sept 10. The supermarket reported the case to police after discovering that more than 3,000 yuan ($446) worth of goods had been stolen.
