Record deals from travel trade show

Indonesia garnered record-breaking transactions worth 260 billion rupiah ($20.15 million) in the recent Asia travel trade show event, a massive increase on the 30 billion rupiah it recorded in the same event last year. An official at Indonesia’s tourism ministry said the accomplishment was exceptional as the ministry initially targeted 30 percent transactions growth, or 40 billion rupiah, for the event.
