Made in China: 18 key programs

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released 18 key programs for implementing the country’s Made in China 2025 initiative in 2016. These key programs will be made more transparent by introducing third-party supervision.

The State Council, China’s Cabinet, has decided at an executive meeting that more support should be given to the elderly care industry. The Cabinet said that unreasonable approval requirements for setting up old-age care institutions should be eliminated.
