Austrian Q3 GDP growth at 0.4%

The Austrian economy grew 0.4 percent in the third quarter, compared with the second quarter, on the back of continued improvement in consumer demand, a leading research institute said. The Austrian Institute of Economic Research said the positive growth dynamics of the first two quarters, which saw growth of 0.4 percent and 0.3 percent respectively, had continued. Year-on-year, the third quarter saw unadjusted growth of 1.3 percent.
