Forestry officers rescue python
A 3.4-meter-long Burmese python that was trapped in an iron grate for more than 10 hours in Gaoshan village has been rescued. Forestry officers, responding to reports of a missing goat, found the 43-kilogram snake, cleaned its wounds and released it back into the forest. The Burmese python is a wild animal under State-level protection.
