Iran, BRICS bilateral trade rises to $29.06b

Iran’s non-oil trade with the BRICS nations declined 8.68 percent in volume but increased 7.4 percent in value during the last Iranian fiscal year compared to the correspond­ing year before, local media Eghtesad Online reported on Sunday. Iran’s fiscal year starts from March 21 till March 20 of the following year. The overall volume of the bilateral trade with BRICS, namely Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, stood at 53.78 million metric tons, valued $29.06 billion.
