The four who withdrew are Sergio Garcia, Masters champion Danny Willett, Shane Lowry and Anirban Lahiri, who is out with a shoulder injury ... Par: 72 • Purse: $2.25 million • Television: Golf Channel (Thursday-Friday, 6-9 pm; Saturday-Sunday, 3-6 pm) • Defending champion: Lydia Ko • Last week: Park In-bee won gold, Ko won silver and China’s Feng Shanshan won bronze at the Rio Olympics • Notes: Ko won her first LPGA Tour event at the Canadian Open in 2012 when she was 15, becoming the youngest 72-hole winner of an LPGA event. She has won three times in the last four years ... Karrie Webb won her first LPGA major at Priddis Greens in 1999 when it hosted the du Maurier Classic ... The top three players in the women’s world ranking are playing this week — Ko, Thailand’s Ariya Jutanugarn and Canada’s Brooke Henderson. It would be his first tournament since February because of back problems ... John Daly has entered the tournament, meaning a long flight for him. Daly made the cut in the Czech Masters on the European Tour last week.
