Art: Recreated imperial enamel works go on show

-

A series of recreated royal enamelware debuted at the Beijing Design Week on Friday, giving visitors a glimpse of the rare porcelain used by the imperial family more than 300 years ago. The 18 works were recreated by an expert team led by Sun Heyang, founder of the Zhenghegong Enamel Research Institute based in Beijing. The new products not only revive the royal articles used in ancient times but also combine them with modern aesthetic taste to meet today’s needs.
