Mexico showcases Chinese art in Acapulco

China is the guest country at this year’s Nao Acapulco International Festival in Mexico. The festival kicked off in the Pacific resort, about 380 kilometers south of Mexico City, at the weekend. The region’s ties to China go back about 450 years to the famous China Galleon which for centuries had sailed between the port city and the Far East. The festival runs until Friday.
