Guo Liangyuan and his family go to school in two roadster-shaped electronic cars in a suburb of Zhengzhou, Henan province, on Tuesday. The vehicles, which have a top speed of 40 kilometers per hour and cost around 5,000 yuan ($726) each, were made by Guo. However, local police said such family-made cars are not allowed on the roads due to safety concerns.
