No injuries in Hongkou stadium fire
Smoke fills the sky above Shanghai Hongkou Football Stadium as a fire breaks out on Tuesday morning. The blaze caused no casualties and did not affect stands or the field, officials said, despite dramatic photos of the fire, which was quickly contained. The stadium is home of the Shanghai Shenhua soccer club, and officials did not rule out using a backup field or adjusting game schedules, Legal Evening News reported. The fire’s cause is being investigated.
