People watch elephant tug-of-war, known as Yajia in Chinese, at an ethnic folk sports event to mark Sanyuesan Festival in Sanya, Hainan province, on Tuesday. Sanyuesan, which falls on the third day of the third lunar month, is a traditional festival for the Li and Miao ethnic people.
