Snow White — 3-D Multimedia Fantasy Musical for the Family

-

Date: May 20 — 3:30 pm Venue: Shenzhen Shekou Fenghua Theater Price: 100-960 yuan Snow White was the most beautiful princess in the world, with hair black as ebony and skin white as snow. She was the purest, and kindest girl, however, her stepmother kept giving her a hard time, and even tried to send a killer to murder her. Her kindness saved her away from the danger again and again, and got her a lot of help from the dwarves and animals. Even deception and attempt to kill her from her jealous stepmother did not erase her pureness and goodness. Finally she survived and lived happily ever after. Challenging the traditional presentation, DT Theater revived the classic work with fresh idea and new technology, and offered a unique stage piece integrating spectacular visual effect, touching original music, interesting interaction and excellent performance. A new definition of STAGE blending movie, animation, special effect and multimedia interaction creates a brand-new immersive experience in theater and throws the audience into the fairy world vividly. We specially invited Ariel Icandri, an animation artist from Italy, to create seven original cute dwarfs with distinctive images. Ariel Icandri is working at the famous DreamsLair Entertainment, and has designed some very striking characters and mascots. Young Chinese composer Li Lin wrote songs and music for the musical Snow White. Not following the style in the movie Snow White, Li Lin tried to perform the magic with more accessible and soulful music and connect with audience through the beauty of music in itself. Performers speak both Chinese and English in this 80-minute stage play. Children learn new words and expression in English when enjoying the show. Daniel Harlan, who is a native speaker and a graduate from NYU drama program, worked as the English consultant of Snow White. He created English lines in the script which contains about 2 classhours vocabulary but does not ruin the plot and performance. Contact: 010-6655-0000
