Continuing the tradition started in 2013 , The Consulate General of India in Shanghai bring another enchanting evening of Indian Classical Music & Dance with Indian string instrument SITAR (String Instrument) which is the centerpiec­e of the event along with Tabla (percussion instrument) and a performanc­e of Indian classical dance by a Chinese danseuse. In its 5th year, the concert brings the best of musicians from India. The festival is an exhibition of Indian Classical Music, Classical Dance and Arts Exhibition. For Chaiti 2017, the world famous Indian Sitar artist Niladri Kumar will be the lead artists accompanie­d by Vijay Ghate on Tabla. These musicians are highly awarded, globally recognized and considered among the top rated maestros of their field from India who have enthralled music enthusiast­s across continents.
